PRESS RELEASE 04/09/2007
Sierra Circuits ACQUIRES PC BOARDS, Inc.
Sunnyvale, California April 9th, 2007
Ken Bahl, President of Sierra Proto Express, the printed circuit board industry's leader in high technology quick turn PCBs, announced the acquisition of PC Boards, Inc. of Chanute, Kansas.

"PC Boards has everything we need to actualize our future growth plans," stated Bahl. "They represent a perfect complement to what we do in Sunnyvale. We handle the high technology small volume Quick Turn products; PC Boards does the mid volume mid technology product. Combined with the PC Boards offshore alliances, this will allow us to provide our customers with a complete PCB solution. The fact that both Sunnyvale and Chanute plants are Mil-Spec certified will work in our favor as well."

Dennis Steinman, President and Founder of PC Boards added, "This is an excellent opportunity for the people at PC Boards (which will be called Sierra Midwest).I am very excited about the growth plans that Ken and his team bring to Chanute. Through a series of acquisitions and roll ups the plan is to grow this facility to double its size in just a couple of years. This will be good for everybody-- our customers, our employees, the community, the company and Sierra. It's a win all around."

Sierra Proto Express is the PCB industry leader in developing new cutting edge technologies. In 2006 Sierra developed a virtually indestructible High Reliability Lead Free printed circuit board capable of withstanding over 2000 thermal cycles. This product is available now. Most recently Sierra launched Micro Electronic rigid PCB's with 1 mil lines and spacing. Sierra Proto Express is one of the industry's fastest growing PCB Fabrication companies with sales expected to exceed $40 million in 2007.
