POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Quote Process Owner you will establish standard methodologies, find opportunities to improve process efficiencies/effectiveness and provide metrics to generate data driven insight. In addition, you will be involved in key projects and deliverables of the Quote Process. You will be comfortable building on a process improvement culture, and ensuring high performance through active talent management and training. You will establish relationships and communicate easily with senior leadership across all functions to ensure good operational discipline across the business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy, completeness and/or consistency and implement solutions in process, policy, and overall operations of the Quote process.
  • Collaborate and influence change in order to drive improvements in upstream and downstream processes.
  • Be responsible for the simplification, design and documentation of the Quote process, including user documentation and training.
  • Ensure designated improvements are met and process controls are defined, implemented and monitored to sustain result.
  • Provide insight on upcoming products and company initiatives.
  • Proactively share and provide guidance on best practices where applicable.
  • Address day to day blocking issues that may arise through teams and present both short-term and long-term solutions to resolve the root cause of these issues to the business.
  • Guide and coach a team with a matrix structure through periods of constant change.
  • Define and track quarterly performance goals for the quote process, evaluate progress, adjust and report to leadership.
  • Identify the latest trends in the industry impacting the process.

  • Capture system and project requirements
  • Capture from the Product Owners and customers all the functionalities needed.
  • Draft and detail the user stories / user

Product Manager

Responsibilities for this position include:

Qualifications for this position include:

1. 5+ years of product management experience in a high growth technology/software company
2. Prior market and competitive analysis experience
3. Prior product P&L responsibilities
4. PCB manufacturing and/or data products are a plus
5. Adept problem solver who can right fit solutions for target segments by tapping into the best of our organizations’ capabilities, technologies, processes and culture
6. Excellent stewardship over competing priorities – the ability to discern the difference between what we could do vs what we should do
7. Agile development experience
8. Bachelor degree in CS, engineering, software engineering, or related field preferred.
