POSITION SUMMARY: The Shipping Clerk/Driver is responsible for packaging and delivering daily shipments of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) orders on-time. In addition, the individual will pick-up/deliver materials, supplies, etc. as needed.

  • Coordinate daily with Quality, Accounting, Shipping, and/or Production to prioritize delivery of PCB orders in a timely manner by following daily Shipment List.

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Laser Drill Operator is responsible for setting up and operating equipments such as ESI and Lumonics machines.  The individual will perform laser drilling tasks according to the travelers or as directed by Managers.


  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Check traveler for due date, material type, and special request for priority before starting the processes.
•Operate ESI and Lumonics machines to drill boards.
•Inspect and produce products using tools such as microscope and micrometer.
•Check registration and make adjustments as needed before running multi-layered product.
•Inspect for debris, burr, and missing or shallow holes after completing the drilling process.
•Log job status on computer using the PCB software (ProCim) and complete Non-Conforming Material Report (NCMR) form for all products that are rejected from the process before moving to the next process.
•Assist department in achieving zero scrap per month.
•Perform daily maintenance on machines and house keeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
•Inform Managers (Drilling/Fabrication Manager, Production Manager, etc.) of any potential problems
•Ability to stand/walk 8 + hours per day.

Final Finish Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Hot Air Solder Level (HASL) operator is responsible for moving panels through the HASL process according to travelers or as directed by the department manager/supervisor. She/He is also responsible for operator level maintenance of equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Process orders through HASL process steps including:
 Pre-clean
 HASL
 Post clean
 Inspection
• Provide chemical support of all HASL equipment by means of the following activities:
 Preparing solder samples for analysis
 Chemical additions and full bath changes
 Rinse water maintenance
 Equipment cleaning
 Skimming the solder pots
 Drossing the solder pots
• Provide product and process support by routine inspection of product, equipment, processes and supplies.
 Product Inspection:  All boards processed are to be inspected for defects.  Each process step has associated defects that are explained in Work Instructions.
 Equipment Inspection:  Each piece of equipment must be maintained and examined for proper set up and operation.
 Process Inspection:  Each process has an operational window that it must work within. 
 Supply Inspection:  Supplies used to manufacture our product must meet certain requirements.
•  Follow all processing instructions associated with each process step and each work order.
 Individual orders may have specific instructions as to HASL type.
 The HASL process has a set of work instructions that must be followed.
• Work within local, state, federal laws and company guidelines regarding safety and chemical use.
 Work with Waste Treatment and follow accepted spent chemical guidelines.
 Follow proper dumping and pumping guidelines regarding rinse waters and processing chemicals.
 Ensure that lead free solder and tin lead solder, equipment, tools and waste are always separated.
 Follow company safety procedures regarding machinery, supply use, and chemical handling
• Assist Production Management and Engineering Department regarding product flow, quality, timeliness and process testing and design.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work within the confines of a room where concentrations of chemicals are located and work around very hot equipment and molten solder.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum and able stand/walk throughout the day.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time.
