Machine Technician

~~POSITION SUMMARY:  The Machine Technician Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance & Facilities Manager in preventing machinery/equipment breakdowns by performing regular daily routine and emergency preventative maintenance as scheduled and in a timely matter.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct daily walk-through/inspections to ensure that all machines/equipments are in good running condition.
• Assign and/or conduct daily preventative maintenance on equipments/machineries (Hitachi Drills, DES, Printar, Hyoki Scrubber, Photo Developer, etc.) to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.
• Monitor Preventive Maintenance schedule and ensure that they are strictly followed.
• Supervise all machine technicians in their day-to-day work assignments.
• Inspect all tasks performed on each machines/equipments before releasing back to operations to confirm that the job was done properly.
• Maintain a system that would monitor all the spare parts needed for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Enter and update new machine/equipment information into maintenance software.  
• Submit weekly report of accomplishment and evaluation done for each machine/equipment to Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
• Train and equip technicians on their knowledge and skills in trouble shooting.
• Facilitate all the special projects that have a bearing on the machine’s performance.
• Report any potential problems to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
• Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
• Strictly enforce and follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Be available for emergency maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Shipping Clerk / Driver

POSITION SUMMARY: The Shipping Clerk/Driver is responsible for packaging and delivering daily shipments of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) orders on-time. In addition, the individual will pick-up/deliver materials, supplies, etc. as needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinate daily with Quality, Accounting, Shipping, and/or Production to prioritize delivery of PCB orders in a timely manner by following daily Shipment List.
  • Prepare all completed PCB orders for shipment and create packing slips.
  • Create labels for shipments using FedEx or USP shipping software.
  • Verify and match customer's tool number to completed PCB orders.
  • Promptly deliver orders and pick-up outside seriveces i.e. materials, supplies, etc.
  • Handle all boards properly and with caution to avoid damages.
  • Read travelers and understand outside service requirements.
  • Respond to internal/external customers in a professional and timely manner.
  • Safely operate compnay vehicle while following local laws and regulations.
  • Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, customers and vendors.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Assembly RFQ Check-in: Retrieving jobs from Sierra Circuits, Inc.'s website or emails, perform Assembly RFQ checkin process, including RFQ analysis of the customer data/files (Gerbers, BOM, CAD data etc.), pricing BOMs, estimating key assembly or design parameters for the rfq, Pricing assembly labor as per company guidelines/tools, and generating BOM ISSUES report & Special Assembly Instructions documents using company's CAD/ERP software tools, EXCEL, WORD etc.
  • Also carryout validation of online Assembly ORDERs placed by customers online on company's website.
  • Consult and/help other team members if required in successful execution of the RFQ Quoting process.
  • Process assembly RFQs and other necessary paperwork or electronic data in a timely manner.
  • Correspond with team members, sales persons, customers, supervisors, through email, telephone as required and as necessary to complete the tasks. Answer calls and provide appropriate information to customer queries.
  • Expected to handle several projects in parallel.
  • Prepare reports for the Supervisor / Manager as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Assembly & Design Quoting Team.

  • Proficient in viewing Gerbers data, PCB assembly drawings & Bill of materials (BOMs) and Knowledge of Electronics Components that are mounted on electronic assemblies.
  • Knowledge of Pricing and Sourcing of Electronic components of the BOM from well known Component Distributors.
  • Knowledge of pricing of Assembly Labor is desirable and will be a plus.
  • Good mathematics aptitude and very detailed oriented.
  • Must have Excellent Computers skills: - EXCEL, WORD, OUTLOOK & other office suites.
  • Ability to learn new skills and tasks as required, especially using software applications for PCB & Assembly industry like ProCim / CAM350/AEGIS-CircuitCAM / VALOR/GENESIS / ERP software etc.

  • Follow and maintain Sales departmental procedures.
