Machine Technician

~~POSITION SUMMARY:  The Machine Technician Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Maintenance & Facilities Manager in preventing machinery/equipment breakdowns by performing regular daily routine and emergency preventative maintenance as scheduled and in a timely matter.  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Conduct daily walk-through/inspections to ensure that all machines/equipments are in good running condition.
• Assign and/or conduct daily preventative maintenance on equipments/machineries (Hitachi Drills, DES, Printar, Hyoki Scrubber, Photo Developer, etc.) to prevent breakdowns, costly repairs, and the development of unsafe conditions.
• Monitor Preventive Maintenance schedule and ensure that they are strictly followed.
• Supervise all machine technicians in their day-to-day work assignments.
• Inspect all tasks performed on each machines/equipments before releasing back to operations to confirm that the job was done properly.
• Maintain a system that would monitor all the spare parts needed for preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Enter and update new machine/equipment information into maintenance software.  
• Submit weekly report of accomplishment and evaluation done for each machine/equipment to Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
• Train and equip technicians on their knowledge and skills in trouble shooting.
• Facilitate all the special projects that have a bearing on the machine’s performance.
• Report any potential problems to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager.
• Interact professionally and diplomatically with managers, co-workers, and vendors.
• Strictly enforce and follow all safety procedures at all times.
• Be available for emergency maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintenance - Administrative Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the Maintenance & Facilities department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative support to the MAnager and MAintenace & Facilities team.
  • Create and maintain the maintenance deparmtents spare parts inventory system.
  • Assist the maintenance and purchasing departments with locating, getting quotes and the requisitioning of spare parts for the department.
  • Follow up with vendors and purchasing on the spare and replacement parts status.
  • Update the inventory quantity and location in the MRF and Procim system.
  • Label incoming parts and put them in the proper location.
  • Perform weekly, monthly, semiannual and annual cycle counts and inventory.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to keep the stock room clean and orderly.
  • Prepare reports for management's review on parts usage, costs and other maintenance activities as directed.
  • Add outside vendor service reports to the MRF system.
  • Reconciling vendor invoices with service reports and purchase orders.
  • Create and Maintain a filling system for the maintenance departments's documents.
  • Oversee the materials being sent out for recycling and maintain the records.

Waste Treatment Operator

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Waste Treatment Operator is responsible for making sure that wastes are processed according with Sierra Circuits, Inc. standards as directed by city ordinances. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Treat waste water coming from all sources by following set procedures.
  • Regularly discharge treated water after following procedures to test the PH of the water.
  • Be available to accept deliveries of chemicals and properly store them in their respective containments.
  • Follow procedures by triple rinsing the chemical drums and any contaminated containers before moving to outside storage.
  • At all times maintain the cleanliness of the chemical storage area and waste treatment floor.
  • Properly dispose of sludge and dumping it into the designated vins.
  • Track and record any and all abnormalities of the treated water in our system.
  • Immediately report any potential problems that may affect the process, cause unnecessary downtime, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
