Raspberry Pi is a leader in innovative computers, goals of incorporating computer science in primary and secondary school systems. Now, they are focusing products for the PCB industry—and things are looking good. Their new core has been compacted to fit on a SO-DIMM with onboard memory, and will fit onto a larger system, allowing for perfect placement onto a PCB board.
Raspberry Pi’s product announcement states:
Designing the module into a custom system should be relatively straightforward as we’ve put all the tricky bits onto the module itself.
Along with the compute module, Raspberry Pi is launching its sibling Computer Module IO Board, which will “help designers get started with the new module. Details and schematics for both are listed below.
