Happy Holden at PCB West 2015

If you want to learn more about HDI, Happy Holden is the expert to talk to. For over 20 years, he has been sharing his knowledge and expertise with the industry. Luckily for us, he will also be speaking at PCB West. Check out his classes below.

Embedded Actives and Passives
September 15, 2:30 — 5:00 pm

This course introduces embedded component technologies. Various materials and processes, as well as IPC standards, will be discussed. All materials used for planar and component embedded resistors, capacitors, capacitance and active devices will be reviewed.

What You Need To Learn To Gain 3X To 4X Higher Layout Density
September 17, 10:00 — 12:30 pm

This course introduces a number of novel techniques to increase the wiring density of multilayers. Designing high-density boards has many different options over designing a conventional multilayer. It is understanding and using these new design paradigms that permits these boards to reduce costs while increasing layout density by factors of two to four times.

Next Generation High Density Structures and Applications
September 17, 1:20 — 3:30 pm

This course continues the training to understand the challenges and work required to be successful in HDI product implementation. More miniaturization and fine-pitch technologies are the next generation of high-density technologies, as well as optical waveguides in PCBs.
