Sierra Proto Express and CADParts & Consulting form Alliance
Sunnyvale, California March 29, 2007
Sierra Proto Express and CADParts & Consulting have formed a strategic alliance to sell a complete PCB Design, Fabrication and Assembly solution from a single source.
"We feel that this is really a case of one plus one equals three" said Don Beane, founder and President of CADParts & Consulting. We are really excited about the opportunity to work with Sierra. The timing was perfect, Ken Bahl (Sierra Proto Express founder and President) was looking to start offering design and engineering consulting services out of his Sunnyvale facility and we were looking expand our operations to the Silicon Valley area. Once we met each other it wasn't long before we had an agreement".
Ken Bahl added, "I like the fact that Don and I are on the same page when it comes to the vision for expansion that we both have for our companies. Sierra wants to offer its customers a complete solution which means adding design services and Don wants to offer fabrication services. I wanted a design center here and he wanted to come to California. It's magic."
CADParts & Consulting has used Sierra's services extensively for PCB fabrication. Now this relationship has been further strengthened with an Alliance. Customers benefit because of the shared resources and vast competencies of the two companies. The design service bureau is being constructed in Sunnyvale, California and will be open for business in April 2007.
This Design center will have Design and Engineering personnel as well as the latest tools from Cadence and Mentor at their disposal.
